Tehran Set for 21st Int’l Press Fair

Tehran's 21st International Press Fair will officially open its doors to press lovers and public on Saturday, November 7.

Organised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the weeklong event (Nov. 7-13) will convene on the premises of the Iranian capital's Imam Khomeini Mosalla.

The annual event will provide an exciting space for public visit, interviews with participants, journalists and authors, radio and TV recording, live TV broadcasts, working space for photographers and journalists, training workshops, as well as unlimited access to press companies and publications and wire services, daily newspapers and good company all day.

Over 19 international media companies based in Tehran are taking part in this most important press event, including – but not limited to - media experts and lecturers from Germany, France and Lebanon. The fair will host over 600 Iranian newspapers, periodicals, news agencies and websites as well. And There are new entries too, including expert speeches/discussions on a wide range of topics, such as digital media et al.

What makes Tehran’s Press Fair different to other press events in the region is that it always comes up with new surprises and entries. For instance, this year over one thousand periodicals published by university student NGOs and press organizations will be presented in the exhibition. But that’s not all.
