Hundreds of non-resident foreign reporters get visas to cover Iran events

In the 30 days to February 19, the Foreign Media Department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has given the go-ahead to 231 foreign correspondents to secure media visas.
The 231 correspondents who represented 107 media outlets, including 58 radio and TV channels, 10 news agencies, 37 journals, one union and a media advertisement company, came from 23 countries.
Applications by these correspondents to get visas were mostly aimed at giving news coverage to ceremonies marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and the upcoming elections for the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Assembly of Experts.
