At the beginning, pointing to the young journalists, and trying to convey his valuable experience to them, he recounted the mistakes he made in preparing reports and how he never let difficulties disappoint him.

Being succinct and yet trying to cover everything relevant to a particular subject, like in a report consisting of no more than 130 words, were among important points he covered. He went on to say that technology has had profound impact on vedio and audio types of reports and the way we write today.

Once upon a time news was something that happened yesterday and before, but today the news is something that as it breaks out, it is quickly put together and the T.V announcer, without changing anything, should be able to read it immediately. He also touched on the importance of remaining faithful to quotations, correct way of quick headlining and later detailing, being careful not to lose sight of the powerful competitors such as Reuters. Mr. Karimi also placed emphasis on the importance of the work of journalists and said that reporters are primary basis of scientific moves in the world. At the end of his speech, he rightfully warned that technology and recording of an event cannot and should not fill the role of the handwriting for any reporter for the simple reason that, unlike recorded version of a news, its handwritten version cannot be manipulated.
